Although growing up my parents provided everything that I needed they also always made sure that I had everything that I wanted, as they still do this. This is how I learned the important life lesson that you have to work for what you want and if you work hard enough you can achieve it.

Every summer, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break up until I was a junior in high school, my sister and I would spend that time at my Grandparents house in California. That being said, I also have high academic expectations that I set for myself.

In addition, since being elected into our Student Government Association last spring, it is a long-term goal of mine to plan more events in the Sheboygan area for our students during weekends. I want to create a more bustling atmosphere of opportunities and peer engagement for students in the community such as sports game trips, bonfires and museum tours.

This mission goes along with my involvement in the Conversation partner program, where I pair international and American students together in order to foster friendships that may otherwise be difficult to ignite. But now I study because I want to do phenomenal and make the dean 's list. Therefore, as a young child I would imagine what college I would attend and would I succeed.

I liked being a part of a team and becoming closer to people that I was not friends with prior to joining the team. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the basketball team, even though we did not make it to the championship. As a result, earlier this year, I decided to run for student council representative.
